Jesse Owens
Jesse Owens won the last of his four gold medals in the 1936 Olympic Games. On August 3 he won the 100 meter sprint. On August 4 he won the long jump competition. On August 5 he finished first in the 200 meter sprint, and on August 9 he was part of the 4 X 100 sprint relay that came in first.
